Let's Talk Candles: Part II

2.14.2017
Last year, I posted about a few bookish candle shops that I thought looked really interesting. And now I'm back because THERE ARE JUST SO MANY. (I won't be mentioning the ones I previously mentioned, but you can definitely check out the first post for more options!)

Disclaimer: I haven't bought from most of these shops. The reality is that fandom candles are usually expensive. Add in shipping and it's just like, not smart for me to buy them. Which I understand! People are putting a lot of time and effort into this and SHIPPING IS AN EXPENSIVE THING. I'm basically just showing you pretty candles I WOULD buy and probably only would buy as gifts for birthdays and stuff like that because I'm irresponsible enough at Target, I don't need to be buying myself 10 candles from Etsy, too. (Also, all photos besides the one above are from the shops themselves, not me!)

Obviously I'm going to start with Hafsah's shop, IceyDesigns, just in case you haven't heard of it. Her shop has plenty of stuff that's perfect for book lovers, really - journals, including a Six of Crows one, cute pins, pencils. But for candles, there's one for Caraval, one for Windwitch, one for An Ember in the Ashes, and more! They all look BEAUTIFUL, and the candle for The Star Touched Queen sounds particularly awesome. Candles are 8oz jars for $18 (without shipping - ships from USA).

BurningPagesCandles, which ships from Australia, has lots of options! A big Empire of Storms sample set and another one for ACOTAR, and more! Most of the candles are 7oz for $11.07.

A Court of Candles has a TON of options and some beautiful labels! There's lots for any of you ACOTAR fans, some Harry Potter, some Once Upon A Time, some Six of Crows, a Percy Jackson or two...Candles are 9oz jars for $16 and ship from the USA for a little cheaper than a lot of other ones I've seen. You can use the code darkfae20 to get 20% off, thanks to darkfaerietales rep code! HOWEVER, they also have a website (not Etsy) where you can get the same things, but you can also get little 2oz jars for $4, and there's even some Truthwitch candles! Shipping to the US is a little cheaper through their website. The rep code works for both the website and the Etsy shop, and the website has some kind of rewards system.

Meraki Candles, based in Scotland, has a sea salt Dregs candle, some Throne of Glass ones, a Jamie Fraser candle, and THIS FJERDA CANDLE. Plus a bunch more, obviously. There's one for Daughter of Smoke and Bone. Candles are $11.51 but I'm not quite sure about the jar size.

Liber DeStella also has lots for you to buy - do you like Victoria Schwab's Shades of Magic series? There are some candles for that! Lots of them, in fact. And for the Throne of Glass series, Six of Crows, Game of Thrones, Pride & Prejudice...you name it. A 4oz jar is $14 and a 8oz jar is $18. Use SOPHIA10 for 15% off at her shop, thanks to literaryrambles!

Novel Heartbeat from the US also has some cute options, including a few Disney ones. There's even a bookstagram candle and A LUNA LOVEGOOD CANDLE. 4oz tins are $7, 8oz tins are $13, and there's a few sets you can buy. You can also use bookieemoji's code, CRYSTAL10, for 10% off.

Are you tired of me yet? JUST ONE MORE, I PROMISE.

NerdieNifties! Plenty of Outlander candles to choose from, along with a lot of LOTR candles, some from The Hunger Games, Game of Thrones, etc. Plus THE ADORABLE CAPPUCINO SCENTED ONE BELOW that I included for obvious cat reasons. This shop also ships from the US and for me, has the cheapest shipping out of all the shops I've seen. Candles are 4oz jars for $6.50. You can also get them in a gift box for an extra dollar.

OKAY, I'M DONE NOW, I PROMISE. I actually have WAY more but with all the photos THESE POSTS JUST GET TOO LONG. Honestly, I'm probably going to end up with a part 3 because there are just so many candles and SO LITTLE TIME. Have you bought from any of these shops? (I ended up buying 5 from A Court of Candles while I was writing this post, shhh.) What are some of your favorite bookish candle shops?
