August TBR: #ARCAugust & the #ReadThemAllThon!

7.31.2016

I wasn't planning on doing either of these because I've been SO AWFUL at actually keeping up with readathons, but I NEED TO DO THIS. I have more ARCs that I need to read in August than I actually thought? Plus it will help to get them out of the way before the semester starts again and I die inside.

The Pokemon Readathon is hosted by Read at Midnight! Graphics are all hers.

My chosen Pokemon? FENNEKIN, OBVIOUSLY. I know I might be lame for choosing a starter but JUST LOOK AT HIM.

Badge #1: A Shadow Bright and Burning by Jessica Cluess (412 pages - 41 CP)
Badge #2: Girl in Pieces by Kathleen Glasgow (416 pages, 41 CP)
Badge #3: Truthwitch by Susan Dennard (416 pages, 41 CP)
Badge #4: The Sun is Also a Star by Nicola Yoon (344 pages, 34 CP)
Badge #5: The Wrath and the Dawn by Renee Ahdieh (388 pages, 38 CP)
Badge #6: The Reader by Traci Chee (448 pages, 48 CP)
Badge #7: Girl in Pieces by Kathleen Glasgow. (416 pages, no CP because I'm using it for badge #2 as well!)

OKAY, IT'S PINK, I KNOW, BUT IT'S ALL I GOT.
Badge #8: Red Rising by Pierce Brown (382 pages, 38 CP)
AND NOW. ARC August is hosted by Read. Sleep. Repeat!

The ARCs I need to finish: The Reader by Traci Chee, The Sun is Also a Star by Nicola Yoon, Girl in Pieces by Kathleen Glasgow, and A Shadow Bright and Burning by Jessica Cluess.

I HOPE to finish Stealing Snow by Danielle Paige, but that one is just a MAYBE and not officially on my TBR.

As you can see, I did double up on these - reading 8 books in a month is going to be challenging for me, especially because I'm going to have to commute 4 hours round-trip for work for the last two weeks of August. BUT YOU GOTTA DO WHAT YOU GOTTA DO. As much as I want to win all 8 badges, I'm going to focus on ARC August first because those are higher priority and need to be reviewed first.
