Top Ten Tuesday: Inspiring Quotes

Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by The Broke and the Bookish!
Today is all about inspiring book quotes. Let me tell you, THIS WAS SO HARD.

“The more you know who you are, and what you want, the less you let things upset you.”

(Anna and the French Kiss, Stephanie Perkins)

“I will be stronger than my sadness.”

(My Heart and Other Black Holes, Jasmine Warga)

“I'm not going to waste time being angry about things I can't control. If I only have one life, I should make the most of it.”

(Incarnate, Jodi Meadows)

“I suppose a fire that burns that bright is not meant to last.”

(Allegiant, Veronica Roth)
This one just inspires me to write a lot of tragic things, to be honest.

“No matter what happens, I want that piece of music to live. When people hear it, I want them to think about what we tried to do, regardless of whether we succeed.”

(Infinite, Jodi Meadows)

“The moment you doubt whether you can fly, you cease forever to be able to do it.”

(J.M. Barrie, Peter Pan)

“She taught me all about real sacrifice. That it should be done from love... That it should be done from necessity, not without exhausting all other options. That it should be done for people who need your strength because they don't have enough of their own.”

(Allegiant, Veronica Roth)

“We must try not to sink beneath our anguish, Harry, but battle on.”

(Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, J.K. Rowling)

“Do not find peace. Find passion.”

(The Retribution of Mara Dyer, Michelle Hodkin)

“Someone needs to tell those tales. When the battles are fought and won and lost, when the pirates find their treasures and the dragons eat their foes for breakfast with a nice cup of Lapsang souchong, someone needs to tell their bits of overlapping narrative. There's magic in that. It's in the listener, and for each and every ear it will be different, and it will affect them in ways they can never predict. From the mundane to the profound. You may tell a tale that takes up residence in someone's soul, becomes their blood and self and purpose. That tale will move them and drive them and who knows what they might do because of it, because of your words. ”

(The Night Circus, Erin Morgenstern)

Each of these is inspiring to me in very different ways! So how about you? What are some of your most inspiring quotes? I absolutely love this topic! Although it was definitely a struggle because I've only recently begun writing down quotes.
